Digital Triage and Chat Platform
A digital triage system has been introduced to guide patients to the right level of care, ranging from self-care advice to emergency services (112). It prioritises cases in the queue based on urgency helping professionals to focus on the most critical patients first. This system has been made accessible online and as a downloadable app. The platform allows patients to start voice or video calls and upload images for evaluation. With built in two-factor authentication, it ensures data protection while enhancing access and care navigation.
